Keepfew Privacy Policy

Keepfew: Photo Cleaner ("Keepfew") is made by DIRWAAS INTELLIGENT SOLUTIONS LLC ("we"). This policy covers Keepfew for iPhone and for Android.
The short version
Keepfew does not collect any data about you. Your photos and videos are examined on your phone and never leave it.
Your photo library
- Keepfew reads your photos and videos only after you allow it. If you allow access to selected photos only, it reads only the ones you chose.
- It compares photos to find duplicates, similar shots, screenshots and large videos. All of this happens on your device.
- On iPhone, Keepfew also reads the words in your screenshots, with the text recognition built into iOS, to point out screenshots that show a card number, bank account, password or recovery phrase, and ones that are done with (an old one-time code, a past ticket). This happens on your device. The words are not stored: Keepfew keeps only which kind of screenshot it is.
- If you choose to hide a screenshot, it moves to the Hidden album in Photos and stays on your device.
- The results are stored in a private file inside the app on your phone. It is not included in backups, and deleting Keepfew deletes it.
- Keepfew never uploads, shares or sells your photos, videos or any information about them.
- On iPhone, to show a photo that is stored only in iCloud, your phone may download it from Apple's iCloud Photos, as the Photos app does. That transfer is between your device and Apple. We do not receive it.
- Nothing is deleted unless you confirm it in the system prompt of your phone. On iPhone, deleted items go to the Recently Deleted album in Photos; on Android, they go to the system trash (called the bin on some phones). In both cases you can recover them for up to 30 days, unless you choose to delete them for good.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store on iPhone, and by Google through Google Play on Android. We do not receive your payment details. The store tells the app only whether your subscription is active.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
Keepfew contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Children
Keepfew is not directed to children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
