Yalla Guess Privacy Policy

The short version

Yalla Guess does not collect, send or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The game works offline.

Camera and microphone

If you turn on "Film the round", the front camera and microphone record the round so you can watch it back. The video is saved only on your phone. It is never uploaded by us. It leaves your phone only if you choose to share it yourself, and only to the app you pick. Only the latest round's video is kept, and every video and score picture (including copies made for sharing) is deleted the next time the app starts. You can switch filming off at any time, or refuse the permission; the game works without it.

Motion sensor

The game reads the phone's motion sensor to know when you tilt it. These readings stay on the phone and are not stored.

Purchases

Deck purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app keeps a list of which decks you own on your phone so it works offline.

Data stored on your phone

Your settings, the decks you create in My decks, recently shown words and your purchased decks are stored only on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Children

The game is made for ages 8 and up, with picture decks so younger children can join in with their family. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
